What are the chances that I will be convicted if the federal government charges me under 1466a for posting loli/shota hentai online?
To the best of my knowledge, 18 U. S. C. § 1466A is for distribution of obscene material which contains a visual depiction or simulation of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct even if the material does not portray real minors. The case of US v. Arthur in recent times has helped to expound the law by pointing out that real minors don’t need to be depicted but the law still appears vague. I worry as to how probable it is that I could be arrested and then convicted in the event that the government decided to charge me for sharing loli/shota hentai images online. Seeing the severity of sex crimes and federal rules, I am quite curious about how it would be to work with it and whether I need to seek a legal advice of some sort to comprehensively assess my case.
