How long is a police investigation for a minor hit and run and what actions may they take in an attempt to find me?
I was involved in a minor hit-and-run accident and would like to know how long it will take for the police to trace me The accident occurred at a junction and although the damages to my car are negligible, I was not sure of the extent of damages of the damaged car. At least I was able to jot down the other vehicle’s license number and I was also not alone when this incident happened so will police track this through surveillance cameras? If the other driver does not come forward what are possible consequences that follow?
