Can I sue Advance Auto Parts for poor service and damage done by workers?
The self service sector at Advance Auto Parts has a policy that the buyer is given a free installation of a new battery for every battery bought. : The first time I installed it myself but I made a blunder and so I came back requesting if they could do the installation by policy. One day an employee told me that the terminal is worn out and he gave me the idea to purchase the terminal. Although I did not know much about mechanics, one day I bought the part and told him if he can help me install it for a fee. He refused, stating that he would not be able to manage the terminals, but he was willing to accompany me if necessary After I informed him that I did not possess any tools, he responded that he would bring them himself. I had a lot of difficulty while handling the task and that is when the employee withdraw completely and left me to do the work on my own. It was getting dark and the store was shut down and the few workers remaining shouted at me and took the tools from my car. I was lucky enough to solve the problem with the car using electrical tape for some time. I am tired of poor service delivery and would definitely take this company to court. What can I do?
